Helix wins place on new Watford Community Housing development framework

Helix has won a place on the Watford Community Housing Herts, Beds and Bucks Development Framework.

The framework has been developed to provide a preferred choice of experienced, professional organisations delivering innovation and value-for-money, including architects, civil engineers and fire consultants alongside construction experts, such as Helix.

Its success in being placed on the framework means that Helix is now a preferred choice for development opportunities of up to £10 million, allowing more opportunities to provide partners with its unique local knowledge and experience as a developer of high-quality homes in the South East.

Coordinated by Watford Community Housing and managed by Pretium Frameworks, the framework can be accessed by organisations across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, as well as in other adjoining counties and north London.

It provides a one-stop procurement framework for preferred contractors and consultants to work on new developments, primarily new homes but also including commercial, community, industrial and educational buildings.

Nic Davies, Helix Group’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are extremely proud to have won this place on the Watford Community Housing Development Framework. We are especially pleased to have scored so highly and to have been selected as a chosen construction firm for the development works.

“Being part of this framework is another huge step forward in building our reputation as a knowledgeable and trusted SME homebuilder providing high-quality homes and excellent customer service. We’re looking forward to the opportunities for new projects that it will bring.”

Helix’s place on the Watford Community Housing Development Framework follows earlier successes with listings on multiple frameworks and comes during a successful period of growth with over £41 million of projects underway this year.
