Helix was appointed by Runnymede Council to complete the substantial refurbishment of six apartments for private rent, within a six-storey, mixed-tenure, residential block in Addlestone, Surrey. The project was adjacent to a fully occupied, residential apartment block and local primary school. Careful consideration was required to reduce public disturbance and maintain the safe segregation of public access and egress in and around the site. Surrounding external finishes and existing lighting installations required protection during plant and material deliveries. Works were planned and managed in close liaison with the council’s local management team.
