Project summary
In response the councils ambitions to deliver more affordable housing in Maidenhead, we have been working with the housing team to deliver 14 new affordable homes for sale and rent. A logistically challenging site, with a shared access point also used by the local primary school. Developing a robust and collaborative Traffic Management Plan has been key to the successful outcomes.

Key features
- Nine houses: including eight 3-storey, 3-bed townhouses. and one 3-bed coach house.
- Works included the demolition of an existing industrial building, and decontamination of the site.
- Complex party wall matters had to be resolved to allow construction adjacent to existing occupied homes.
- The site is located opposite a school. Our team visited the school to give a health & safety lesson with the pupils.
- An innovative “smart roof” system used allowing off site manufacture and a reduction in waste.
